Whatsapp Almost Reaching 1 Billion Users Works To Add Call Via Skype Voice Calling Feature

Whatsapp is a little behind the other messaging app when it comes to voice calling. Currently the App allows you to make conventional calls instead of using your data plan. But now the service seems to be working on adding a “call via Skype” feature which was spotted a few days ago by MakTechBlog. While the service wants to play nice with Skype (for now), Whatsapp is said to be working on its in-built voice calling feature which actually was supposed to come out by last year, but didn’t. However, Whatsapp CEO confirmed that the Voice calling feature is coming to WhatsApp in 2015. WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook with has 1.3 billion users in February 2014 for $19 billion in stock and cash.
